John Denver, a singer-songwriter from Colorado who was a specialist in folk music has was a hit with millions of fans. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr., born Henry John Deutschendorf from Roswell in New Mexico, fell in Love with Colorado. He moved to Aspen. More than a few people took the road towards Colorado due to Denver's famous anthems to his adopted state. G. Brown the curator of Colorado Music Hall of Fame stated that John Denver was the best performer in capturing Colorado. Denver became one of the very premier Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. He is now regarded as the embodiment of Colorado to people from across the world.
