Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his unique mixture of soul gospel, R&B and R&B. She's performed on Broadway, during the Democratic National Convention and in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. The real name of Sunshine is Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta she was born in Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical experience began at the church, where she sang as well as performed piano. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical education began in the Atlanta's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You a House 12 was released only in Japan. It's been remixed several times, and is the mainstay of her live shows. Sunshine gained national recognition for four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was chosen to sing as part of President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in 2009.
